Hello, friend :)

It has been a while. No, really. It’s been a long time….. It was May of last year that I last posted to this blog. A lot of things have changed and a lot of things have stayed the same. There were some home improvements and a listing, but there was no sale. There was… Continue reading Hello, friend 🙂

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant – Orlando – Review

My husband and I recently had the opportunity to visit the new Cooper’s Hawk at Waterford Lakes Town Center in Orlando.  Sorry for my wonky picture of the place.  It was raining and I was kind of sick (and tired of standing out in the rain).  My husband chose to park in the farthest spot… Continue reading Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant – Orlando – Review

Day One

Day One of the happiness project was a success. I managed to get both kids out the door early. We got to the orthodontist on time and the appointment only took 5 minutes. That means I had enough time to take him home to ride the bus rather than having to drive him all the… Continue reading Day One

“We become what…

“We become what we think about.”
–Earl Nightingale

I’m really starting to take this positive thinking thing seriously.  There has always been a never-ending battle going on in my head between the angel on one shoulder gently suggesting a positive outlooking, and the devil on the other shoulder that’s constantly spouting out how much everything sucks.  Pessimism has always been just part of my charm, right???

Well, the battle is over.  It’s all blue skies and fluffy puppies from here on out.  I need to do more than just think positive thoughts.  I need to really believe them and then they will manifest…. or so all the self-help books tell me.  If what they say is true, I will be in for a lot of changes.  We will call this Day Zero.  Tomorrow is the beginning of the new, improved, and hopelessly optimistic me.

Welcome!

My name is Molly. I am married and we live in central Florida with our two sons. I have a fairly serious day job, which I won’t be at liberty to discuss here in any capacity for various reasons… Enough said.

In my everyday life, I switch seamlessly between being manically organized and being hopelessly lazy, which gets me to the title of my blog. I had been thinking about possible names for several weeks. I had a stack of papers with lists of blog names, none of which fully satisfied my desire for the perfect blog name. Then, one day in the shower, it came to me. Constantly curating. Constantly curating. Thankfully, I remembered the name long enough to jot it down on the note pad on my night stand. As I write this, days after securing constantlycurating.com, I am still really happy with the name. I think it describes where I am right now. I’m reevaluating a lot of my personal possessions and finding that my style has evolved and changed a lot over the last 15 years. I am determined to keep clutter to a minimum, so I will be constantly curating. My closet. My house. My life.

I am new to blogging, but I thought some of you may benefit from me sharing a little bit of my “experience” and “wisdom.” I am by no means an expert on anything beauty- or fashion-wise, but I am a “young” professional woman making my way in the world. I read lots of blogs and enjoy hear about the experiences of others. All of our lives are exciting at some times and when you look at them from the right perspective. It is my goal to look at my own life from a perspective of positivity.

I would like the blog to focus on fun clothes and general lifestyle posts. But, at the same time, I am excited to see where things will go! For anyone local, maybe I will share some favorite things and favorite places. Our family is actually planning a small move, so the adventures are really only just about to begin!
